Plenty to be fired-up about after Matt Rhules appearance on BWTB.

There is nothing that kick starts your day quite like a ice cold glass of Rhule-Aid.
Just Flat Out A Good Dude.
One of the best parts about this interview as a Nebraska fan is the pure realization that Coach Rhule is an excellent person, not just an excellent coach. He talks about the relationships he has built with players over the years and how much it means to him to see that his presence left an impact on their life. Qualities like this are essential in a head coaching job especially in College Football and in the great state of Nebraska. Not only this, but he talks about the impact his wife makes, not just in decision making (She loved Nebraska) but on the players too. How players would come to dinner and not leave until after midnight, how they would seek her out to say goodbye if a move was made, and how she cares as much as he does on their success in life. This entire interview gave me a Mike Riley type of feeling with an essential difference, being a competitor and putting an emphasis on dominance.
The Dirty Talk
No, I am not talking about that type. I am talking about that noise that tingles the ear of a true Husker football fan. Running the ball, being more physical, and competing no matter the circumstances. All things and core qualities that Nebraska has been spotty with in this dreadful stretch of Football. Another big piece he hit on that fits very well in the dirty-talk space is a worry that is on all of our minds. The Slow Burn. The thought lingered with his track record of building programs that these first couple of years would be maybe even worse than what we have been seeing. Rhule says "I don't expect this one to be a slow-burn." Just pouring that extra Rhule-Aid powder in our ears.
The Fulfilled Pieces
I know we touched on it earlier, but Matt Rhule is much different than Mike Riley and even more different than Scott Frost. The passion is there. You can hear in Matt's voice just how much this means to him and how much spirt he has in what he does. It's pure, it's clear, it's applicable. The recruiting trail has already been drilled by this staff and this interview shows no signs of slowing down. For myself, it sounds like Rhule is the most passionate about being at Nebraska compared to the other two. He knows what this means to and for this state and is fully embracing himself in Husker culture (while building it.)
Please take some time and listen to this. I promise it will make your day better.
Disclaimer: It is recommended to not listen to this near a brick wall. You may run through it.
